William Shakespeare's King Lear
| ← Robert William Service | Morante's Utopian View → |
William Shakespeare’s King Lear centers on a fatal mistake in the judgment of character the ruler made and the subsequent loss of many lives not only evil ones but good ones too. Shakespeare wants the readers and the spectators to learn a lesson from the play that evil begets evil. Those characters that were mean and wicked died, whereas those who attempted to withstand lies and plots survived and were left to rule the kingdom. In King Lear, Goneril, Regan, and Edmund die, whereas Kent, Albany, and Edgar survive because their life choices were good.
The play reveals that evil corrupts people into making wrong deeds that will lead to very sad and tragic outcomes. King Lear is not inherently mean but for some reason he mistook her youngest daughter’s sincerity for a lack of love and reacted to it very vehemently by taking away her part of inheritance. As a result of his unwise actions, the wholeness of power in his other daughters’ hands allowed them to treat their father badly. Initially, it was King Lear’s fault that he did not share the kingdom wisely between all three daughters. Therefore, King Lear lost his mental health and eventually he even lost his life because he could not accept the consequences of his follies.
Similarly, in the example of the Gloucester family, Shakespeare shows that corrupting actions further corrupt people and eventually destroy their lives. Edmund plotted against Edgar and faked a letter. Gloucester believed him and wanted to give Edgar’s inheritance to him. However, Edmund’s shenanigans did not bring benefit for him and eventually he received a deadly wound.
In this regard, King Lear’s and Gloucester’s families are similar in their tragedies. Both parents misjudged their children and their wrong choices led them to physical and mental illnesses. The same way as King Lear believed that his elder daughter would take care of him, Cornwall believed Edmund would be a better son that Edgar that had been defamed.
Shakespeare prompted the audience to make the decision that evil begets evil. Seeing how badly the parents of both families ended, the readers and viewers can vividly see how flattery and plots can lead unwise people astray. Meanwhile, those people who plot also do not end up happy and rich.

One of the things that I appreciate most about EssaysEmpire.com, is that they don’t resell your paper. Only you own it, if you hire them to write something. Other writing services that I have used, just circulate the same paper over and over, and if you get caught turning one in, too bad. You are expelled. EssaysEmpire.com will even give you a plagiarism report after they run it through their anti-plagiarism check. Such details set EssaysEmpire.com above the rest. |

My writer revealed to me that when he isn’t working for you, he is teaching at a major university. He also told me that a lot of the other writers who work for you are professors. That is impressive! No wonder I got an A+ on my paper! |

There are four things that I look for in a good writing service. #1. They have to be fast. A good writing service won’t miss an important deadline. #2. A good writing service will let customers actually talk to the writer who is working on their customer’s papers, so the customer can work out important details. #3. A good writing service will have a user-friendly website that is easy for the customer to use and #4, a good writing service will offer quality guarantees. EssaysEmpire.com meets all of this criteria and more. EssaysEmpire.com is the best writing service and has the reputation to prove it. I wouldn’t even consider using another writing service since experiencing the excellence that is EssaysEmpire.com! |

I submitted my order as a ‘rush order’. I only had 2 days to get my paper finished and I just felt like I was sinking. I didn’t understand the material I was writing about, and I didn’t know what I was going to do. My friend recommended EssaysEmpire.com. I had very little lost by attempting to use this writing service, so I did. It was an excellent move on my part, because, not only was my paper finished on time. It was also excellently written. I will always be grateful to my friend for recommending your service. It is wonderful. |

Writer #48376 was very easy to work with. My professor made some changes to his requirements after he had assigned the paper. All I had to do was call your customer service and request to speak with the writer directly. Was able to relay the changes that my professor wanted, and he (writer #48376) accommodated them with no problem. I thought that was great. No headaches and perfect work. I couldn’t ask for a better experience! |

You’ve done it again! Every time I order a paper from EssaysEmpire.com, you top the last one. This latest one was the best yet. I truly do appreciate the fact that you offer such high quality writing. It never fails. With some of the other writing services online, you ever really know what you are going to get. Sometimes, they just sell you a paper that someone else has already bought. I never have to worry about things like that happening when I use EssaysEmpire.com. |

When I tried to write it myself, I thought it would have put my professor to sleep! Your writers made it sound so interesting! I really appreciate that. Thanks a million! |
